Track who's where in your campaign with Runs

The Runs tab shows you exactly where each person stands in your campaign — without digging through individual records.

The Runs tab shows you exactly where each person stands in your campaign — without digging through individual records. Use it to spot people who get stuck, find your biggest funnel leak, and check the health of any running campaign at a glance.

What you can do here
  • See everyone in your campaign — anyone who's started moving through the workflow shows up in the list on the right.
  • Trace one person's path — click their name to highlight every step they've taken on the workflow.
  • Filter by status — focus on just the people who completed, failed, or are still in progress.
  • Check key numbers — the overview card below the list tells you how your campaign is doing overall.
Opening the Runs tab

Open any campaign and click the Runs tab between People and Sent.

💡 Heads up: the list only includes people who've reached at least one step in the workflow. Newly added prospects who haven't started yet won't appear until your first step runs for them.

Trace a single person

Click any name in the right-hand list. The workflow on the left lights up to show their journey:

  • Green — steps they completed
  • Red — steps where they got stopped (bounce, blacklist, exit goal triggered)
  • Blue + soft glow — where they are right now
  • Dimmed grey — steps they haven't reached

Click the same person again to clear the highlight.

💡 Tip: if your workflow has a Switch or If/Then step, only the branch the person actually took will light up. The other branch stays dimmed — so you can clearly see which path your workflow chose for them.

Filter and search

Above the list, you have two ways to narrow things down:

  • Search box — type a name or email to find a specific person.
  • Status chips — click In progress, Completed, or Failed to see only people in that state. Click All to clear the filter.

You can combine both (e.g. search “acme” with the Failed chip on to find Acme contacts who didn't make it through).

The list loads more people automatically as you scroll, so you can browse long lists without hitting “next page”.

Understanding the overview

The card below the list summarizes the whole campaign:

Metric What it tells you
Completed How many people made it all the way through.
Failed How many people got stopped (bounce, blacklist, exit goal).
In progress How many people are still moving through.
Avg. runtime How long, on average, finished runs took from start to finish.
Completion rate The percentage of people who finished the workflow successfully.
New today People who entered the workflow today — a quick pulse on whether your campaign is picking up fresh leads.
Top drop-off The step where most people are getting stuck. This is usually your biggest opportunity to improve.
Putting Runs to work

A few common ways to use this tab day-to-day:

  • Spot a stuck campaign — if “In progress” is huge and “Completed” is tiny, something's blocking people. Check Top drop-off to see where, then open the Editor tab to fix that step.
  • Validate a new workflow — after publishing changes, click into a couple of in-progress people to confirm they're going down the right path.
  • Answer “where is this lead?” — sales rep asking about a specific prospect? Search their email here instead of opening their record.
  • Compare campaignsCompletion rate is the cleanest number to compare across campaigns, since it's independent of how many people you enrolled.
Frequently asked questions

Why doesn't a person I just added show up?
They'll appear in the list as soon as the first workflow step runs for them. Until then, they're queued but haven't “started” yet.

What counts as Completed?
A run is marked as Completed once the person reaches an Exit step successfully — that means they went through the whole workflow without getting stopped.

Why does the “Current” step pulse?
It's just a visual cue to draw your eye to where the person is right now, versus the steps they've already completed.

How fresh is this data?
The list updates each time you open the Runs tab. Re-click the tab (or refresh the page) to pull the latest.

Can I export the list?
Not directly from this view yet. As a workaround, use the People tab — it supports filtering and CSV export.
