How do emails get sent?

An explanation on how emails get sent from your Ubico campaigns.

Ubico's sending algorithm prioritizes contacts based on where they are in the workflow and emulates human-like sending behavior to improve inbox placement.

How prioritization works

Contacts further along in the workflow are sent to first. For example, a contact on step 4 is prioritized over a contact on step 3. This keeps momentum through the sequence and ensures no one gets stuck waiting.

Contacts exit the workflow automatically if they reply to a message.

Why it matters

The algorithm is designed to avoid promotions and spam folders by mimicking natural sending patterns. This prioritization applies to email steps only — other actions like Slack or Teams notifications are processed immediately.
