An email verifier, or email checker, is a tool to validate that an email address exists and can receive emails. Email verification is important before contacting new recipients to avoid bounces and protect your sender's reputation.
With Ubico, you can run email validation when managing People. This is useful when importing new lists into Ubico, or refreshing older data. Each email validation is 1 credit. This tool will verify the validity of an email address and confirms whether it exists or not.
In order to access this tool, visit the "People" page and select the people you want to validate emails for. Then click on the shield icon "Validate Emails" in order to run the email validation check. The process can take 1-3 mins, so make sure to hit the refresh button next to the search bar to get an updated status.
Another way to access the tool is to do it through the People page inside of a segment. This is useful if you'd like to only validate emails for a specific group of people.
